Last weekend proved to be very interesting as, being a member of Mensa, I gave a small talk at a European Seminar/Gathering in Newport South Wales on Reiki from Folk Art – Reiki in a Professional/Conventional medical setting. 41 countries were represented at the gathering – but I didn’t have 41 countries attending my talk (!) however I did have some, including a number of Americans attend and it was very interesting to hear about the requirements for giving Reiki in some of the States in America. Many being surprised to hear about CNHC (Complementary and Natural Healthcare Council) that we have here in the UK. I also had interesting discussions afterwards, which were very encouraging. No negativity, no challenges, only curiosity and support.
I also give talks locally, mainly to small groups including the Women’s Institute ( in Gloucestershire I am listed as an approved speaker ).
