Reiki verified register
The practice of Reiki comes under Voluntary Self – Regulation, this means that there are no statutory or mandatory requirements to practice Reiki, however the Reiki Council*, the lead advisory body for Reiki practitioners in the UK, worked with Skills for Health** to provide National Occupational Standards for the practice of working with Reiki in professional and/or conventional medical settings.
The CNHC register is currently the only register that has been approved as an Accredited Register by the Professional Standards Authority for Health and Social Care, a body accountable to Parliament. All Practitioners listed in the CNHC register will have completed the agreed verification assessment procedure to show that they work to the National Occupational Standards for Reiki. There are currently just over 300 verified Reiki Practitioners in the country in this register
